CAD BOM to WTPart BOM - Is it possible?

We are starting to use Creo 3.0 for our 3D CAD data with Windchill 10.1 M030 after migrating from Solidworks and a third party PLM system (Keytech).

In the previous system, it was possible to construct the Part (WTPart) BOM from the assembly automatically.

Is this possible with Creo to Windchill?

I am at a loss to find anything pertaining to this.

From Windchill go to the CREO assembly.

You can Edit Association, which is to associate it to a wtPart. For what you are looking for you will want it to be an Owner Link.

Or if the there is already a wtPart associated with it you would just Build Associated Part.

You can also Auto Associate on check-in from CREO. I do not have that open otherwise I would put a screen shot of that.
