Can you describe the changes you made in a version you put into Windchill?

When I check a version into Windchill, is there a way to describe which changes I made or to put in a note where I can write what I changed compared to the previous version?

Yes, those are check in comments tied to iterations. See the history tab to display them. When you check in from a Creo workspace or a document, you will be presented with a text box where you can enter comments. Its optional and in some cases like auto checkin, you do not see it but that is how its done.
