"Check in" button on windchill is missing

Version: Windchill 12.0

Use Case: I created a workspace for a new project and I opened an assembly in Creo (version 9) which was locally stored and saved as an assembly in a workspace in windchill. Then I created two drawings for two of the parts in the assembly and tried to check in my work.

Description:

When I want to check in my work and create an ECN for the drawings, the check in button is missing. The check out and undo check out button is there. Not sure why this happens now, since I've done it before. The same problem exists in other workspaces.

The parts I recently saved are marked with the symbol "modifications need to be uploaded" I have tried uploading the local files and made sure they are located in a folder in the workspace. But I still dont have the check in button.

My colleagues cant see the parts i've saved in the workspace. I cant see it either when I open windchill online and try to create an ECN. They don't have the same issue with their own work.

One option is to check your licenses:

Just asking, are you connecting through Creo or are you viewing workspace via outside browser?

Do you have write permissions to that con text/folder in Windchill?

I dont know what write permissions mean, but I've been able to check in work previously. Not sure if that answers the question,

Each folder/context in Windchill can have different permissions. Is the folder you are trying to check that object into one that you have saved other parts in it before?

How do I check my licenses? I've seen that it could be the problem but havent found a way to check it.

Yes, I'm connecting to windchill via Creo.

If you are not an site or org administrator, as them to check your account in the Participant Administrator on the Site or Org utilities page. You should see licenses as groups assigned to your account:

You want to make sure you have Creo Data Management (which I think you do since you can create workspaces) and Windchill Advanced which allows WTPart creation. I've also seen issues if you were added to the license exclusion group.
