Check-in file from Adobe Illustrator

Is there an option available to check-in and check-out files from Adobe Illustrator using Windchill PDMLink? If yes, can someone kindly guide me with the steps to be followed to achieve this functionalities?

I have only heard such functionality exists in Windchill FlexPLM.

- Windchill PDMLink does not have a standard functionality to connect with Adobe tools.

 

However you can install both FlexPLM and PDMLink to the same server and utilize both of these tools and link your Adobe Illustrator files to documents or product data and have iterations/revisions of it.

I know, this might not be the answer you were looking for, but as of today only way of having a check-in / check-out files from PDMLink in a usable manor is the office integration tools that give the user a folder type of interface to Windows UI.
