Clustered Windchill and deploying configurations

We are deploying a new instance of windchill in a cluster, and are running in to issues deploying configurations across the cluster. 

Does anyone have any best practices around how do deploy configurations and customizations to a cluster? 

What (if any) automated tools do you use?

Great question @mduffy-2, we are also getting ready to deploy WC12 as a cluster on RedHat Linux and would like to hear how people are managing configurations and customizations across the nodes. I'm sure there are some simple shell scripts we could use the push files to all the nodes, but definitely interested in other tools or processes people are using.
