Configurable Links - Adding multiple Referenced Object instances

Does anyone know if it is possible to have a Configurable Link, such as Configurable Reference Link, allow a referenced object to be added more than once. I have a use case where this would be desirable so that I can define a different link attribute for the various link instances of a referenced (ROLE B) object in a given link.
