Connecting via Excel

I attempted to follow the instructions in "Creating a Windchill Report In Excel" with partial success... I do see activity, and I do get some form of return... the results are limited to Report - "My Report" in the starting cell in Excel... nothing else. I'm wondering if things have changed since this presentation was put together. Has anyone used this technique successfully in a 10.x environment?

Any ideas?
