Content compression and archival options

Our business use case involves creation of a lot of products and seasons (FlexPLM) and hence the vault size is ever growing. Would like to know if anyone is aware of a effective compression (images/pdf) and archival mechanism that PTC clients can use to make sure vault size increases at a slower pace.

Have you looked into your purging strategy so you can remove iterations that carry content no longer needed? Can that help reduce the rate of growth? Its not the number of products but the content holders that are driving things right?

I also develop a function, that deletes all visualizations that are not needed based on some criteria

so it can be also interesting tip how to decrease the vault growing.

    Thank you for suggesting.  We are thinking about coming up with a purging strategy. Yes, you are right that the content holders and more specifically the content size that drives the vault size. Interesting that you talk about purging functions, could you give some more insights on it, please
