Version: Windchill 12.0

Use Case: Using Windchill for Contract management. Currently using Wrench PLM.

Description:

We are looking at managing the contract management followed by detail design phase for a customer that is using Wrench PLM, in Windchill.
Any experiences if displacement of Wrench PLM in the general context of EPC project with Windchill?

Best Regards

Is this the other software? https://www.wrenchspusa.com/

Looks like they mostly operate in Construction space. Can you be more specific in the business processes you are looking to replicate? Is it just workflows and document management?

Hi,

Thanks for the response. Looking for capabilities for managing a Engineering Project starting from Contract Initiation, Multiple Reviews, Audit,  along with the Schedule, Plan , Deliverables.

Also, one more query. Refer the screen shot. Is the weightage of the progress of a WBS work possible in Windchill?

This will enable the % completion of a WBS to reflect as per the weightages.

Thanks & Regards

Hari

The ProjectLink module might be what you are looking for. It has all the things you are looking for to managed the schedule. There are a lot of better project execution systems out there but if you are looking to manage it all in Windchill, use the Projects feature. It does have the roll up on completion percentages.
