Custom action - Open folder in windows explorer

Hi,

I am fairly new to customization of windchill, I have small requirement.

- Add Menu to Header action menus on top right corner,

     -  I am do this part of the problem.

- then when users click  this menu , he should get windows explorer with mentioned folder

    - I am stuck at this part,  after opening he should be able to work as normal as he work in normal windows explorer when opened directly.

I tried href hyperlink in the html and calling this html file when users click on that action menu but it is not working.

please guide how I should go ..
