Deadline date on tasks to set to today's date

This article https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS334782 says we can’t set our task deadline to today’s date.  It keeps saying it’s in the past.  Is there a workaround that anyone has found.  We often have tasks that go to the user the day it’s due and we’d like to set that date to today’s date.

    Has anyone found a work around for this in version 13?  We miss being able to set a task to be due with today’s date.  How to request this with PTC?  This worked well for us in Windchill 11.

    No work around for this issue and it should be possible (IMHO) to set today’s date as deadline.

    I think it would be acceptable to mark it as “Overdue” (since it is past midnight).

     

    Have you checked with PTC on why the functionality changed Windchill 11 → 13?
