Detect Discrepancy in Windchill BOM Transformer and MAPSB

We are upgrading to Windchill 12.0.2 and it seems like Detect Discrepancy action is behaving inconsistently in both Windchill BOM transformer and MAPSB. For certain scenarios, it's not able to identify expected differences. 

 

Anybody has observed this behavior? Do you have more insights into how this is supposed to work?

    I am not a user of the BOMs transformer (using MPMLink right?) but can you post some examples? Were you able to identify the issues?
