Discrepancy in Quantity: EPM Document Structure vs WTPart Structure

Currently, when a part is used multiple times in a Creo assembly, the systems handle quantities inconsistently:

  • EPM Document Structure: Shows multiple occurrences of the same part, each with quantity 1

  • WTPart Structure: Correctly consolidates into a single occurrence with total quantity

This inconsistency causes confusion in our processes. We need both structures to follow the same consolidated quantity approach as the WTPart structure.

How can I configure the system so that EPM documents automatically consolidate multiple instances of the same part into a single occurrence with total quantity, matching the default WTPart structure behavior?

Thank you, Fadel, for your response.

The issue was due to the structure display mode.

After switching to Structure → Display → Merge Uses, the quantities were displayed correctly.
