Question

Do we need a new Windchill license after removing DB schema and doing a fully Windchill install?

Version: Windchill 12.0

Use Case: We are about to start a deletion of our DB Schema and run the uninstall process of Windchill. We have a valid Windchill license enabled. The DB, Backend and Frontend servers will not change, so will we need to have a new license cut from PTC or will the same license HOSTID stay the same so we can just attach the existing license file when needed?

I believe the HOSTID will change so expect that to be the case. Once you determine the new HOSTID, you can go to license management and pull down a new license bin file for it.  You should be able to start Windchill and run for 6 hours without a valid license.
