Does anyone use the server-side preference, Auto Associate > Set Revision For Parts?

Hello.

I am looking for feedback if and how people are using the server-side preference Operations > Auto Associate > Set Revision For Parts.  If you are using it, please help me understand what is your business case.

If you migrate some CAD-Documents manually with a specific revision e.g. C and create afterwards the WTPart automatically, then the WTPart receives the same revision as the CAD-Document.

I have some customers which are using this preference.

    The primary use case that comes to mind is an organization that has a significant volume of CAD models and is implementing WTParts.
