Does PDMLink support NX Master model ?

Planning to import NX model in to PDMLink, need to know if Master model's (CAD model and CAD drawing in one .prt file) are supported in PDMLink?

Hi Lukesh,

 

 

In Windchill, we do allow support of NX master model but those files need to be categorised either as an assembly/part by default or as an drawing by adding PTC attribute.

 

The reason to categorise may be driven by business approach (How do the customer like to handle BOM, wtpart associations and other Windchill functionalities.)

 

 

When customer decides it as an assembly/part or a drawing, they need to take a caution that, once a drawing will always a drawing & if checked in as part/assembly, it will remain the same in Windchill.
