Does Windchill with Azure Blob Storage support Cool/Cold/Archive tier on Blob Storage?

Hello,
because Windchill is able to use Azure Blob Storage as File Vaults, I'd like to know if only HOT tier is supported or we could configure Blob Storage to move files to Cool/Cold/Archive tier, for cost reduction.

I didn't find any info in the documentation regarding this point.

This is the reply from PTC Tech Support:

 

"

I have confirmed with our internal team that we officially support Azure Blob storage. However, we do not support change data tier /lifecycle management policies.

As far as we know, if the data moves and disrupts the Vaulting mount, it could lead to issues. If the filepath on the Azure side remains unchanged, it might work. However, since this has not been tested or certified, you will need to conduct the test on your end.

Hello,

yes I've seen that document, but there is any mention to Blob data tier https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/blobs/access-tiers-overview, so that is not  clear to me, if once configured we could setup policies to move data (old not accessed) to a cool/cold tier, for cost saving.
