Question

Exporting and Importing Attributes and Type Definitions

Long shot but is there a way to export and import attribute definitions
and type definitions? I am looking to create a empty system but exactly
like an existing system. I figure if I start from scratch, I would have
to rebuild that attribute, types, OIRs, workflows and lifecycles, etc.
Some of those you can export and import. Others I do not know how. Any
info?

Rehosting fully takes care of this and all other configurations...

Yes, but I want an empty system. No products, libraries, WTParts, Cad
models, etc.

Ah yes,
There needs to be a subset of rehost that leaves behind all that stuff. Don't know of any way currently.

I know the loaders would work but if I am hand building those files, I
might as well use the UI. Creating IBAs is not a big deal, it's the
types and constraints that would be a pain.

One can create XML files for all the configurations and upload them using
OOTB file loader. Please let me know if you need some configuration that you
think it cannot be uploaded from a flat file.

Thank you and have a great time.

This might work. Export Manager from Org - utils. If I export
Soft-types, it creates XML files for the types, constraints and the
supporting IBAS. Now I need to test Import to see if it works.
