External Refernce Document

With documents in Windchill, we can add a secondary content document that is attached to the primary document and can only be access from the primary content document.

Is this possible to do with a WTpart or an assembly/part file as the primary file?

We would like to attach some reference documentation to a part or assembly (or WTpart) but we do not want it created as a stand alone document in Windchill that has to be managed for revision and location.
