Force Classification search Refine search attributes to show only values in Legal value list

Hello hello,

Somewhat awkward question, I know, but theoretically speaking,

is there a chance in Classification search tool to force the Refine search criteria attributes to show only those values that are in the Legal value list for those particular attributes instead of showing what there is already in the data?

The case is that there is legacy data imported without Legal value lists enabled.
