Handling Text Values from SiliconExpert in Windchill Predefined Lists

Use Case: How does the SiliconExpert Synch extension handle mapping when the field in Windchill is a list with predefined values, and the corresponding field in SiliconExpert contains text? Does the mapping process match the text to the predefined values in Windchill, or is there another method used?

Description:

Specifically, if there is a field like REACH in both Windchill and SiliconExpert, and I map and synchronize this field, will the value from SiliconExpert be written exactly the same way in Windchill?

Additionally, what happens if the field in Windchill is a list with predefined values, and the value in SiliconExpert is text? How does the mapping process handle this scenario?
