Has anyone successfully setup Form based login with Windchill 10.1 +,

Has anyone successfully setup form based login with Windchill 10.1+?

If you have been able to do it, 

  • What is the expected behavior when hitting the initial Windchill page?

The documentation is unclear on whether the web server must be configured to redirect the user to the login page,  or if Windchill itself detects no REMOTE_USER header variable and redirects the user to the submitURL location.

  • Any issues with using Desktop Integration or Creo clients?

Hi

I have done similar configuration but using ADFS and shibboleth, the behavior was (and I think with web-based authentication it should be the same) that the server detects if the user is not connected and redirect him to login page.
