How do I get the PTC Windchill printer to work?

How do I get the PTC Windchill printer to work?  I try to print to a file, but I get an error message that says "Printer not activated, error code -30"

Are you using the 'Print' or 'Print To File' option? The 'Print' option expects a hardware printer and will fail with this message if the Windchill printer is selected. The 'Print To File' option should successfully use the Windchill printer.

Additional message that pops up is "Device is not ready".
