How to Analyse WGM - Activate Workspace performance issue?

While Activating workspace it take 3 to 6 minutes to users some time. In genral all the time the activation takes longer after restart of the client machine. What kind of tuning to be done to improve this transction performance?

CS129590 comes to mind. What Windchill release, datecode and patches do you have installed?

Are you a LAN or WAN user?

Has any client or server performance tuning been done?

Thanks Peter for replying. Let me give more details.

Our environment is Windchill 10.2 M010 CP08, CAD: Inventor 2013, IE9, Windcows 7(client), Windows 2008R2(Server) and database is SQL 2008 R2

Since we have upgraded from Windchill 10.1 M040 last March'14 users started complining the long time transaction in WGM operations. We have did some analysis using PSM and log files.. Added some indexes, canges, set some properties in Application but nothing is improving the situation (Refence case with PTC C12248105)

Wish to know which are the parameters are key for performance for below transactions from WGM

- Activate Workspace

- Add to Workspace

- Synchronize Workspace

- Update Workspace

Users in LAN(as well as in WAN) are experiencing this issue
