How to check out CAD Documents using Windchill REST Services?

Version: Windchill 12.0

 

Use Case: Checking out a cad model (creo 7) from windchill 12 using windchill rest services


Description:

I am trying to check out a creo model (CAD Document) using windchill rest services but I cannot find a Check Out service in the CAD Documents domain. Is this not something that is possible via WRS?

 

I have tried document management domains check in service but it does not seem to work for cad documents
