    Hi @AK_13732694

Check in the drawing to the windchill

then go to the Template administration on a Site

Create a new CAD Document Template

search for your drawing template file in the Windchill

    Done

After that you can create a drawing from a workspace

    Hi HelesicPetr,

This is the general process to create a CAD template in the Windchill. But for NX the CAD extension is .prt so it is not recoginize it as a NX 2D CAD Drawing template. it is taking it only has a .prt (3D CAD Part). Coz of that i cant able to create a 2D CAD Template.

    I do not understand.

Just use the file , and then you can use it as a template.

Were is your trouble? Wrong icon? it does not matter. Use a drawing template as a name.

In my opinion does not matter if it use the .prt extension
