how to elimanate ghost file

I have one ghost file in my workspace. the files are new and I am uploaded it for first time. because this ghost I am unable to check-in.

Go to Reference Viewer and see if there is a missing dependency and break it. Then try to save the file and checkin.

    Also sometimes while checking in the file, select the "Auto resolve incomplete objects" to automatically clean the missing references.

    Just to be clear the Auto resolve checkbox doesn't clean the missing reference.  It will simply ignore it going forward if the missing reference is not required.  To actually clean the missing reference it should be done at it source within the CAD files itself, as you suggested in your earlier post.
