How to manage family table in windchill

How to manage family table in windchill ?

Part_number & part_name remains same for generic and instacnce . Only file name is differnt .

When uploading it is showing error"cad part not unique"

Pls find attachment

You need to give them another name when they are created. Someone else ha already created a file names family_inst.prt in your system.

Using 'generic' or default names is asking for troubles down the road.
