How to mass edit attributes ?

I have 1000+ objects I want to change for all these objects the value of an attribute.

When I use the function "Edit multiple parts" it simply zooms on selected objects but I am obliged to change every object's attribute value.

Is there a standard way to change many objects an attribute with a common value ?
