How to stop Windchill from automatically converting millimeter values less than 1 to micrometers

Our default units have mm for length (SI).  When I am creating WTPart attributes that are "real with length", and I enter 0.8mm for a value, it will display on the Details page for the WTPart as 800um (800 micrometers).  How can I get it to actually display as the value I entered - in millimeters?

Do you have your Windchill preference set to SI units along with Creo?

Yes, we have SI as our default, but we have modified it to use mm instead of m.  As you enter data, it shows the units as mm, and if I enter a value that is greater than 1, it will report correctly (1.5mm).  but if I enter a value of 0.8mm, it will then display as 800um.  Somewhere it is automatically displaying it this way, but I am not aware of a preference or setting that is controlling that behavior.
