How to use CAPA functionality in Windchill ?

Hi All,

 

I am exploring the CAPA QMS module of Windchill. I have carried out few sample CAPA process in windchill by adding few affected objects to it. but all steps mentioned are quite confusing.

 

If any one implemented this functionality, kindly provide some business cases/examples so i can test and understand this functionality in Windchill.

Hello Vivek ,

 

You will have to take a look at Windchill CAPA Process section from help to understand the CAPA workflow

 

The default process flow provided by Windchill CAPA includes the following steps:
1. Request (Intake)
2. Review (Evaluation)
3. Investigation
4. Plan
5. Implementation
6. Confirmation
7. Effectiveness
8. Closure
 
To know the current state for CAPA request, you can click the state hyperlink at the right top corner on info page to launch this diagram:
