i am unable to get custom variables on task page of workflow in proper alignment. So what should i do to bring them in a proper format?

You can use task form templates. I have recently used, it works good except for some bugs.

Out of curiosity, what specifically do you mean by "proper alignment"? There are quite a few different ways of getting custom variables to show up on a task page but I would need more details on what specifically you're looking for before I could give an answer.
