this's my codes, and i can't catch the event target of workitem.

Try this

if((event.getEventType( ).equals( PersistenceManagerEvent.INSERT )) && ( target instanceof WorkItemLink))

WorkItemLink workitemlink = (WorkItemLink) target;

WorkItem workitem = workitemlink.getWorkItem();
