I want to Subtype the Delivery and have that new Subtype be used with Packages

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 13.0 and Datecode with CPS 13.0.0.4

We created a subtype of a Delivery and made the subtype Instantiable and the other types of Deliveries Uninstantiable, but when a Delivery is made off of a Package, it still is only creating the OOTB Delivery type and not our subtype. There is no dropdown to select a different delivery type either.

I came across this article which says it was reported but no plans to fix:

I would check with Tech Support. Its possible that this is not supported but not explicitly documented. I would expect if the UI does not offer a choice of soft-types, that it would be changable from a preference or xconf entry. Not finding any.
