I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.0 and Datecode with CPS M030-CPS22 We are assessing a migration from Windchill 11.0 to 12.0 and need to assess the utilization of Products, Libraries, Projects and other containers. We need to identify container creation/modification dates, object counts by container (WTPart, WTDocument, EPMDocument, Change objects, etc.), latest object creation/modification activity, and available indicators to identify actively used vs. potentially inactive containers. Please advise the PTC-supported approach using Query Builder/Report Builder, Report Manager, OOTB reports, APIs/REST Services or other supported methods. If not feasible, please confirm whether a read-only Oracle DB query is supported and provide the relevant classes/tables and relationships. Also, please confirm which timestamp and version/iteration should be considered for latest activity.

There are many ready-to-use reports that can do what you're asking for.

Here is a support page for those just getting started with Query Builder reports:

https://www.ptc.com/en/support/wnc-reporting-landing

Here is a summary article—though not exhaustive—of ready-to-use reports, organized by category.

https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS328887

Take a look at this information, and if you don't find the answers to your questions, let us know what else you need.

This is Exactly what i need.

1. Total number of Products/Libraries/containers and the business object count within each.
2. Latest object creation/modification date for each container, considering objects such as WTPart, WTDocument, EPMDocument, and Change Management objects.
3. Which containers are actively used or potentially inactive based on the latest activity.
