Implicit Wilcards on global search

I'm try to user the Implicit Wildcards preference in WC 10.20 M020.

I change the relative preference  "Implicit Wildcards for Search in Structures", to YES, but It seems not work.

My expectation is that on the global search instead type  *bearing* for find everything that contain bearing  a can type only bearing

I'm right? or  are there  something wrong in my reasoning?

I haven't worked with it, but my understanding is that the preference only refers to structure-related search windows (for example, when searching from the "Insert Existing" action window when modifying a part structure).

It doesn't affect global search.
