Question

Import from Spreadsheet doesn't work

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.1 and Datecode with CPS M020-CPS24

When i used "Import from Spreadsheet" after the validation, nothing happens.
In this particular case, i need to add the Service View on the existing parts, the validation it's fine but then when i click on finish and i search the new view on Windchill nothing happens.

The strange thing is that i don't have any errors.

    Check the Import Job Monitor on the Quick Links. I've seen the system stall after validation if the file is too large. I've had to make smaller imports for it to succeed. Check to see status there.

    Thanks for the information.

     

    Unfortunately i checked the Job Monitor immediately, but everything was fine.

    Try checking to see if Windchill has written anything within the method server log files.


    If you don't find anything, try raising the verbosity level and reprocessing the file.

    My general question would be if the import from spreadsheet supports the creation new View or change the View of WTPart 

    I don't think so.
