include link to supplemental image file in markup Creo View?

Is there a way to include a link to a supplemental image file (jpg, png, pdf) when creating a markup using Creo View?

The image file would likely be hosted in a location in Windchill that is associated with the same project.

Perhaps something as simple as a hyperlink in a text annotation?

Thanks for any help or suggestions for "best practices" regarding how to create an easy reference to additional support material thgat is image based..

The reason we are interested in this is because the freehand drawing and other markup tools in CREO View are so limited. In an effort to provide the "clearest communication" in a markup we feel that need to supplement what the CREO View tools are capable of with sketches coming from Adobe Photoshop or other similar applications.  Unfortunately we are having trouble identifying an easy way to "connect" these "supplemental markups" to the typical (formal) CREO View markups in a way that our occasional View/Navigate & Windchill users can easily make use of.

Thanks for any thoughts on how we might approach this!
