Installing multiple windchill instances

We are installing multiple Windchill instances, each different enough that I cannot do one and then clone it.

I am thinking if I can setup XML files and use the bulk loader, I can change the 'pieces' that change between instances and then rerun the loader on the subsequent instances to get the data the way we need it.

I am looking for tips and hints from others who have done something similar.
