Invalid object name 'RMIStubs'

Post installing pdmlink 12.2.1 I am attempting to start the method server and I encounter

ERROR : wt.manager.CacheMasterNegotiator - Exception initializing DB; retrying... com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Invalid object name 'RMIStubs'.

Anyone seen this? Any insights please?
