Inventor analysis files disappear from WFS folder when WGM process is force-terminated: any workarounds?

Hello everyone,

We sometimes run analyses (simulations) in Inventor.

Occasionally, the analysis data disappears from the WFS folder.
PTC Support investigated the issue and found that it occurs when the WGM process is force-terminated from Task Manager.
They also told us that recovering the data after it disappears is difficult.

This is a problem for us because Inventor analysis files depend on their folder location relative to the CAD model.
Once the files are lost from the WFS folder, we have to re-run the analysis, and with large datasets this can take a long time.

Have any Inventor users found a good way to avoid or work around this issue?
