I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.0.4

Is it possible to allow only the admin to revise files?
Restrict users.

Yes that is possible, but WHY???

You need to go through the ACLs of the objects and deny Revise to everyone but the admins.

    This is good question why 😄

    @Manjunath I would advise to work with roles and ACLrules.

    Create specific role for users who can revise, remove revise ACL to others roles and pseudo roles and manage the revise role with a group of users who can do it. 

     

    It is not about admins, it is how to design the rules and processes in the system. 

     

    Ok just one group of users can do this job "revise", but admins are not standard users.

    You should not use admin for standard work ...

      Only allow revise for Released state and make sure that collector for revise does not pull in all dependents. Should make it manageable.

      deny revise to all (PSEUDO ROLE) and grant revise to admin
