Is there a relationship between plants and departments in bom transformation?

Version: Windchill 13.0

 

Use Case: I'm trying to use pdmlink's family mpmlink. It is said that department data is used to store information about attributes related to the various functions of the plant, but in creating downstream, only the plant is created and no department is created.

Help - Creating Department Data from Windchill

PS> try to checkout - control a assigned license to a user and also check ACL.

Iam sure you have to assign the departments to the plant where you want to use it.

     How do i assign departments to a plant?

     The button is disabled.
