Question

Is there a way to toggle the creo view annotations highlighter tool to stay on?

as per subject, not sure if its a limitation or not, but it would be super handy to have the creo view 'highlighter' tool in the annotations ribbon to stay ON to mark up multiple things on a drawing at once?

alternatively, it would be good to be able to apply a shortcut to some of these tools?

Thanks

Can you post a screen shot of what you are referring to?

Sure.  this is the tool i am referring too - Creoview>markup>text highlight.

The behavior of this tool is the following:

1. click button

2.highlight text requiring markup

3.button is disabled and has to be selected again to highlight the next bit of text.

the users of this feature find this behavior frustrating, and it would be very beneficial if this button acted like a 'toggle' on/off or if it could be added to a keyboard shortcut.      I was just checking if I was missing how to do this/bug, before putting in an idea request.

Thankyou

Its not just text highlight but all annotations. I would submit a ticket to PTC and an idea for an option to make this sticky. I do not think its a bug but how they chose to make it work.
