Legal validity of supplier declaration in WPA

Good afternoon everyone,

I was thinking about the legal validity of the supplier declaration in XML format in WPA.

For instance, if I receive back from a supplier a XML file containing the environmental compliance of a certain article, then this file has a legal value against a request from control authorities or is it required something more about?

Is the received e-mail with the XML file sufficient?
