Mapping creator attribute in desktop integration

I recently added some custom attribute mapping in Desktop Integration per the instructions in document CS36657 (http://sv-hou-cadls01.cjes.local/Windchill/app/#ptc1/tcomp/infoPage?oid=OR%3Awt.doc.WTDocument%3A135716&u8=1)

It sort of works, but when mapping the "creator" attribute from Windchill to the "Created By" attribute in Office, the username (e.g. - bsmith) is what is displayed in the Office document. I would rather the full name of the creator be displayed (e.g. - Bob Smith).

Does anyone know of a way to map the Fullname field of the creator attribute to Office instead of the username field?

Any help is appreciated.

You did not mention which release of Windchill you are using, but the following Tecnical Support article provides some insight into setting this up with Full Name. If this does not resolve the issue for you, I would suggest contacting PTC Technical Support.
