MPMLink Filter Functionality Does Not Work as Expected

I am using Windchill MPMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.7

Filter does not exclude other manufacturing objects. We use plant-specific alternate BOMs and filter based on BOM number (i.e., 001, 002, etc.). Currently, filter does not work as-expected for a specific use case where the parent design object does not have a manufacturing part equivalent. Under the parent object structure when the filter is applied, all alternate BOM parts appear.

Hello DW_10309702,
This is Charles from PTC Technical Support in Europe, I will provide you assistance on this question.
Can you provide few details where such filter is getting set and used from?

Any other steps/details you could share that will help understand the use-case?
KR,
Charles.

Hi Charles,

Please refer to the following screenshots:

As you can see in these figures, the filter fails to filter out 002 in Set 1 and 001 in Set 2. Please inform how to proceed.

Thanks,

Dean

Hi @DW_10309702

I can see that you use just mfg filter and you apply this filter to the top level,

so the top-level part can not be resolved in this configuration.

I would suggest to add second filter for the design.
