Name/Number is already existing Windchill can we find in Creo.

Hi Everyone,

 

I have Windchill, it is integrated with Creo. I want to know whether the same number/name already exists in Windchill directly using Creo when I enter the name/number in the new creation. is it possible?

Hi , not possible any check is done after upload to Windchill common space

Is there any customization using toolkit to find it.

hello Amir,

 

I'm more a Windchill functionality guy , but the ProToolkit should support calls to external Java API to query EPMDocuentMaster table for existing names/numbers .
