Not able to Revise a part with a Document (but can revise each separately).

This is odd, why would the Revise option with associated document not be allowed but the user can revise the part and the document individually?

 

It works in our test environment. Same ACR, Lifecycle, Actions per Role. User is in same role.

 

Secured Action. You do not have necessarily authorization...

Update.

I was able to get around the issue by providing my authors with "Create" and "Create by Move" for In Work state (first state) on wtParts.

They already had revise on In Work and they have had for 3 months (plus testing to confirm) the ability to Create at In Work on the Lifecycle.

 

This still seems odd as the users could revise the Part and any other item independently, but not when the part was associated with another object (Described By doc or CAD /Arbortext).
