Part Attribute - Assembly Mode

Upon creation of Wt Parts there is an OOTB attribute called Assembly Mode. The options are Separable, Inseparable, and Component. Are you using this attribute? If so, how are you using the data; part count and/or other? To change the value requires an iteration of the part.

Hi, We use it for technical manuals. Setting the Assembly Mode to Separable trigger out Technical manual team to create expoded view of assembly in manuals.


Another Question I have is we want the AssemblyMode attribute to be driven by Model parameter. But since it is a OOTB we're not allowed to change the Internal Name of the WT part Attribute. Is there a way to change internal name?
